We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Technical Sales Engineer to join a privately owned, award winning multi-million-pound Engineering company.
ESSENTIAL TO APPLY
• Experience of working for either pump manufacturer or pump distributor • Technical pump knowledge from either an internal or external role • Based within a commutable distance of the office due to the role being split internally/externally • Stable work history essential.
• Role is a combination of internal and external work. • Deal with incoming technical pump enquiries, work with suppliers and provide quotes to customers. • Visit end user clients to view applications, when requested; gather information and work with suppliers to offer a technical pump solution. • Apply pump and system knowledge to provide opinion based advice to ensure the customer feels confident in our service. • Proactive sales efforts (telephone and site visits) with potential end user customers for new products and repairs. • Develop relationships with existing end user and reseller customers (Tier 1 Accounts) • Follow up of quotations and using proactive sales methods convert enquiries into orders and potential customers into customer accounts. • Utilise CRM software (Salesforce) for quotations, meeting scheduling and reporting etc. • Work alongside experienced colleagues to achieve growth of the company in line with the owners expectations and targets.
