About our role:
Primary Purpose:
Carry out fault finding and repair of diesel generator and the Maintenance and Repair of my clients Power Fleet.
Key responsibilities:
Mechanical
• Disassemble, overhaul and rebuild of diesel & gas engines across my clients product range • Complex fault finding and repair of diesel & gas engines and fuel injection systems • A&B servicing of engines • Fault Finding/Repair of diesel & gas generators down to component level • Load testing of generators 20-2000KVA • Maintain control & accurately record usage of spares • Maintain up to date knowledge of my clients products & systems

Electrical
• Electrical fault finding 12/24v dc and 230/415v ac • Knowledge of electronic engine control systems • ECM programming and diagnostics
QHSE (To maintain a safe working environment)
• Be responsible for ensuring health & safety of self and others at all times • Maintain the workplace in a neat and tidy state in accordance with my clients GSCS • Ensure all yard/workshop equipment is in safe/good working order • Ensure LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out) is used • Reports all near misses and any incidents • Up to date on all QHSE topics • Complies with PPE rules • Complies with site rules

Administration
• Maintain QHSE and legally required documentation • Complete all necessary reports on equipment • Complete mobility reporting in real time • Daily completion of time sheets using Handhelds
Other The duties described above cover the main focus of the role, however from time to time you may be required to carry out any other duties which are reasonable and within your abilities to support other areas of the business.
Indicative performance measures / Key interdependencies:
• GSCS met and maintained and Mobility data delivered in real time
Person Specification:
Education/Qualifications
• Time-served Mechanical apprenticeship in diesel/gas engines
Professional skills/experience
• Knowledge of Iveco/Scania/Cummins engines or large high horse power engines • Able to carry out health check/assessment of engines • Good organisational skills • Good communication skills • Good level of PC literacy including basic MS Office applications • Good all round knowledge of my clients products and procedures (Desirable) • Experience of working on engine/alternator combinations and ancillary equipment

• Well organised & self-motivated • Team player • Makes informed decisions based on sound analysis of data • Committed to maintaining standards in accordance with Aggreko GSCS
Other Requirements
• Must hold a full, clean and valid UK driving licence • Must be able to work out of hours as and when required
