Site Manager - Freelance or permanent - London
We are currently resourcing an experienced Site Manager for a London based construction main contractor. The company has enjoyed consistent growth over the last 5 years, which has resulted in them being included in the Sunday Times Fast Track Top 100 Companies in the country and they still have exciting expansion plans for the future. They have recently won a number of new schemes totalling £40m in value. The contractor predominately specialise in design and build and refurbishment schemes which are either public or privately funded.

The successful Site Manager will be located on a £5m site in North London and will be responsible for:
Leading a fully integrated and dynamic relationship between design, construction and commercial activities.
Making Health, Safety and the Environment their first priority in all decisions and actions.
To plan, manage and deliver all construction activities in an efficient and cost effective manner.
Demonstrate a positive ‘can do’ attitude at all times whilst understanding the impact of decisions on all aspects of the project.
To fully understand design / procurement / construction / completion planning, programming and progress reporting.
To report openly and honestly at all times, acknowledging problems, analysing and providing seeking solutions.
Be a positive team builder, care for their staff and actively engage in staff feedback and development.

In an ideal world, the successful candidate will have a stable employment record, live in London or within close vicinity and preferably have a construction related qualification. Ideally you will have drive, passion and a passion for the construction industry. If you have experience of building from the ground up, you could be on your way to obtaining a superb opportunity.
